@spike
Hi,
If you was in full time job, can't you send your payslips?
Also if you you was not present in UK then your passport will show enter and exit?
If you was present in UK then why this question been put by HO?

Hi, didnt your ncs copy your passport as proof of residency? That should show when you were in and out of the country. Utility bills wouldnt be proof as these can be received even when you are away.
Well, that is what annoys me; NCS copied everything and then told me that I should be fine! I didn't have any passport at that time as I only had recieved the RC in July 2009 so I was always in the UK for that period.
Applied for EEA4 on 24/02/2012.
HO received on 27/02/2012.
Refusal received on 16/08/2012 dated 11/08/2012
At the court, the HO REP withdrawn the decision and asked me to send the DOC for the time before marriage.

Now I believe that utility bills are not a prove of address but that was NCS fault as I told them I didn't have no passport for that period and they told me bills should be enough!!!
I have gathered about 250 gm of payslips and P45 & P60 and I hope that should satisfy them. I spend 3 hours to get everything for that period from March to October, 1 payslip is missing which should be the last one of October ( would that be a problem? ) but again I have included P45 and P60 and a letter from hospital ( in HO letter, Hospital letters are proven ).

P60 or Payslips should solve the problem. I applied through NCS and the lady asked me attach my Payslips from August-13 to October-13 as my old passport expired in August and I only realized it when I was booking my tickets to go for holidays and got it renewed at the end of October. So basically to cover that period I provided the Payslips. I hope it helps you.
And I agree with you that the person at NCS should have told you that.

Kind regards

Thanks mate, yes it does help and I hope I have all they ask. At NCS did ask me to prove that period but she didn't say has to be either payslip or P60 or P45 ( I would have sent them ) that is why I just gave her bills!!
But I'm still glad that my app is not refused and I can provide them all docs :)

Here is another tip, when you send the documents off to HO make sure you include a special delivery pre paid envelope so that when the decision is made you basically get the brown envelope in a day or 2 and not 7 days or longer as with the second class post system ;).

You have to remember that some of us March applicants got approvals before some February applicants and even january and so on. So they too could see it as unfair. You will get yours soon don't worry :).

Thanks mate ;) yes I've already thought about it and in HO letter says if you could include a pre-paid envelop whether you want the docs back quick.... my docs about 300 gm not sure how much that will cost tho ( I still will do it ).
HO has included an envelop to send docs to them but it's too small, not sure what to do :?

I think only a caseworker could help you with that answer buddy. I think everyone on this forum wished they knew lol.

Good evening everyone,
I have got a letter from the Home Office regarding my application for British Citizenship as a European citizen member of the UE. They asked me for alternative evidence of residence in the UK to cover 2 periods of time before being able to proceed further. The thing is that I was not paying council tax between that time and was not working either (2 months in 2009 and 4 months between November and March). I was looking for a job and that s what I underline by sending to them a registration with a job agency.
I also sent all my bank statement covering all this period proving that I live fully in the UK by this time. I could not get any jobseeker allowance as I have over £16000. On the top of that, I did sent my P60s covering the 5 years and the P45 of the jobs I did on my sixth year by the time of my application.
Finally I sent my payslip covering this period and it might be slightly different from the dates I put on my application originally as I was not certain of that and still not as I am missing few payslips.

All in all, what do you think of my chance to get my approval?

Hi my fellow March 4th week applicants and all the March folks waiting for the famous brown envelope

I rang the HO on the 12th of March, and at that point I was told my application had not been allocated to a caseworker.

I called up the HO again today 20th March at about 3pm to ascertain any updates and the gentleman said that a decision had been made on my application and it was posted out today. I asked if he was able to tell me what the decision was, but he politely said ''it should take about 10 days to get you, just be a little more patient''

Has anyone had this type of feedback ? hopefully its good news!!! Fingers crossed 8)

Hi,

Who are you calling to get this information? I don't seem to be able to find any numbers that are working.

Thanks
