Naturalisation application (airport incident)

Post by Daymohktim » Sat May 24, 2014 1:19 pm

Hi!

My friend has refugee status since 2000, and she has ILR more that 1 year.

In 2013 this person traveled to her country of origin using her old passport.

When entering UK, immigration officer, while searching her bags found her old passport and saw a stamp that indicates her entry to her country.
The problem is that on the convention travel document that was issued to her by Home Office, it states that she can go to any country except her own country.

Because of this, she had to spend a night in the airport until immigration officer decided what to do.

The following morning she was told that she was free to go and all her documents were handed back her.

Nothing else happened since then, and she has not heard anything from Home Office.

Now, would that incident make any problem when this person applies for Naturalisation?
