OCI apply for child born in India to British Parents

folks,
There are multiple references on how to apply British Citizenship & Indian visa for child born to British Parents, but couldn't find the process/step-by-step procedure about the journey

Situation:
- Father & Mother , naturalised British citizen with OCI
- child born in India

Can you please confirm if the below process/steps are correct?
1. Get Birth Certificate in India
2. Apply for British Passport (by sending to BHC , New Delhi)
3. Apply OCI from FRRO? (I understand minor could choose Indian passport till he is 18 yrs, but at the moment going only with BC and OCI)

did anyone go through such situation?

as both parents are British, the child is also british (no option to choose indian citizenship)
