Awaiting Stamp4EUFAM

Post by masterboy123 » Sun May 25, 2014 4:02 pm

Hi,

My decision for 5 years Stamp4EUFAM is due on 5 June 2014. It's only 2 weeks left now but till now I haven't received any letter from EU treaty rights. Do they send letter on the last day of decision? Do I need to contact them to get an update?
Please share your experience.

Thanks

My approval letter arrived on the last day of the completion of my 6 months. You better to send them a letter by registered post asking for the outcome of your application. Make sure you mention your application reference number, GNIB number and Person ID.

Good Luck

Thanks CalvinKlien.
Ok I am going to send the letter by registered post on Friday. Shall I email them also? With all my details. Usually they have replied to my email earlier.
Will update here if I get anything from them.
Thanks

Hi masterboy123, the applications of my parents are due by 10th of June, which is 5 days later than yours. I emailed the eu treaty division last Thursday night and get an email back early Friday morning saying pretty much everything I've already known. They say it can take up to 6 months to process the application, so they will contact the applicants shortly. They respond to the email in a very timely fashion though. Anyway, best of luck with your application. It could've already been on its way back.

Hi Ruthie,
Yes i am expecting the letter from EU treaty rights this week, as per the decision date given by them, yes indeed the reply on email was quick but i think thats the standard reply to send to everyone with such query.
I will inform here once i get any update from them.
All the best.

Hi everyone,

Got the approval of 5 years Stamp4EUFAM :)
The letter was sent from EU treaty rights by registered post on the last date of decision (exactly after 6 months). Now i have to go local garda station with my EU spouse and get the card. The EU spouse has been working full time since we applied for EU1 application.
Hope you all get the positive decision.
Thanks for all other members who guided me :D

masterboy123,

Thats good news! Congrats!
Are you working at the moment? If so, do you have to tell your employer about the 5year visa?
Just wondering coz my employer said to me i have to provide new visa before the temporary 6mo expires
Hope you can share a light here
Thanks!

Yes i have been working as a doctor in hospital from the last 5 months. They didn't care much about my stamp. But I will inform them once i have 5 years card, so they can keep a copy of it in their files.
Once you have 5 years stamp, then no visa required so you dont worry about new visa.
