Hello waiting observe, have your referees been contacted?

They said they'd call me if they ever get a call from the HO. No call yet though.

110 days have gone...no approval yet...rang homeoffice today got reply it can take up to 6 months...

I might get reply soon as most of 1st week applicants are geting reply 1 questions does HO contacts referee's in all cases or is it random any answers or guess's welcome

its random and rare for naturalisation

when you apply for Passport they contact referees more often

Looks like there isn't any news today regarding the May's applications?

It's ben 80 days so far for me sens I aplayed on the 27th of May.

Looks like we have to wait until September ,hhopefully we might hear somthing othere then that u better engoy your bank holiday and forget about it.

Never posted here before but I just got the approval letter today dated 18/8. Good luck to everyone.

I have just came back from holiday, found no letters from HO in my letter box, phoned them this morning only to receive the standard " still under the consideration " reply.... 108 days passed since I' ve applied

Called up today and same reply....under consideration no decision made yet and may take up to 6 months...

We have to wait even though we payed an expensive price

I applied on 7th May. I recently contacted the HO, but I was given the lazy "it takes up to 6 months" reply. I read on a BBC article that due to public outrage regarding passport processing delays, the Home Secretary simply moved staff from the citizenship applications dept to the passport office. I suppose no one cares about us really, whether there are delays or not. What a disgrace!
