Minimum Income Requirement for Self Employed..

Apologies if this post is similar to another one which has previously been answered ... if that is the case please provide me with a link! Otherwise .. please help me to help a friend who has a query re. minimum salary requirement for ILR from Tier 1 (General)...

My friend has been on Tier 1(G) visa for the last 5 years as a self employed and he is about to apply for ILR on SET(O). Over the last 5 years he has paid tax regularly however out of the 5 years ..2 years in between his income was couple of thousand pounds lower than the minimum threshold required for which he obtained points. However, for the last 12 months he is earning above the threshold through a part time work along with his business.

Now the question is, would those 2 years where his income was below the threshold impact decision on his ILR? Many thanks for your informed suggestion.

Agree, earning in the year 12 months will enable him to gain points for earning.
