Payslip missing for Tier 1 dependant application

Post by skchenna » Sun Jul 27, 2014 7:58 pm

Hi All,

Can some one please help me with my query, I got married in May this year in India and planning to make an application for my wife, but the problem is i don't have payslip for the month of June (Unemployed as I left my previous company in May and joined the new one in July).

So In order to make an application do i have to wait until i get the September's payslip (So that i will have 3 consecutive payslips) or would it be OK if i enclose all the past one year payslips except the June's? Also my visa is expiring in July 2015 and makes me eligible for ILR. Can my wife get the ILR at the same time with me or does she have to stay in UK for certain period to become eligible for it?

Please advise and thank you for your time.

Regards,
Santosh

Nothing to worry much, show your new employment contract and previous employment history including payslips. It would be good if your contract is a longstanding one. Explain everything in a covering letter

No, your wife cannot apply for ILR, as she will need to spend 5 years as your dependant under new rules of July'2012

Hi all, Got a reply from the UKVI and it stated as below

"Unfortunately, We will not be able to provide exact answer for your query
as Your visa application will be assessed and decided by the British High
Commission. Our staff at the UK Visas and Immigration international enquiry
service do not assess and are unable to influence the outcome of your visa
application.

Please ensure you submit all the relevant original documents that you want
the Entry Clearance Officer to see when considering your application. The
UK Immigration Rules make it clear that it is your responsibility to
satisfy the Entry Clearance Officer that you are genuinely seeking entry to
the UK for the purpose and duration that you have stated. Submission of
particular documents does not guarantee that your visa will be issued. It
is your decision how you satisfy the Entry Clearance Officer that your
intentions are as you state in your application. It is your choice which
documents you submit."

They could not answer my question and left the choice to me. I can get a letter from my new employer explaining the reason why i could not join in my new role in June but in July (this is due to the delay in getting security clearance) . Please suggest if there is anything else i can do to make my application successful?

Thank you again.
Santosh.

Payslips are not a requirement (not mentioned in policy guidelines) when applying for your dependent visa. The only important thing is showing maintenance funds for 3 months prior to your application, so your bank stmts will cover this.

Read the Tier 1 Dependent policy guidelines,

Hi All

I recently submitted tier 1 dependant application, but did not submit my payslip or any sort of income proof.

The guideline does not say anything about the payslip or main applicant income proofs.

Documents I submitted:
1. Main applicant passport ans visa copy (photo copy).
2. Local bank statement , covering min £630 for 90 days (Both main applicant's and dependant's bank statement) -This does not show my income as it was a savings account)
3. Marriage certificate
4. Dependant's passport
5. Dependant's medical certificate

Please can someone confirm whether the above docs are enough for Tier 1 dependant visa ??

Thanks for your time.
