Work Permit for France

Hi,
Just got a job offer to work in Tours, France.
Qualifications:
H1B Visa Holder from India, working in the US
Planning for France Visa stamping in 2-3 days from now
Never worked in Europe.

Could you please share any useful info related to getting the Visa successfully, and working in Tours, about Tours etc in France.
Can I easily get accommodation, and how much is a single bedroom or a studio cost to rent,
Any useful info is highly appreciated,

Do you have a work permit? The company should have arranged this.
