Hi Smiles, i have the same question as well, i've already had a Msc Degree in the UK, but thinking of going for Phd or another type of diploma switch will give me T4 visa, however i am expecting to be offered a job,. so i am wondering if i can switch while in the middle of the T4 programme with no problems....

yes, she is eligible to switch to T2G as long as she had continuous leave since obtaining her bachelor's or master's degree in 2011

Hi Manci, even if that means discontinuing the programme one is already on ? or switching it from full time to part time ?
thank you

Hi Manci

She has obtained the bachelors after July 2011 and was on PSW and again changed to Tier -4 which is not completed . will she be switching immigration catogory when changing in to Tier 2? can you kindly point me to the immigration rule which explain this. i thought that continuous leave only applicable to Tier 4 .please advise

Hi Manci,
Just to confirm, so this means one can switch to T2 without completing the current T4 as long as the stay has not been discontinued between the first T4 and second T4.
Many thanks
