Travelling while British Passport application in process

Hi,
all members

i am going to apply my first Adult British passport in 1st week of November and need to travelling to Pakistan at the end of November for 2 weeks
I got my old Passport and ILR card
is there any harm to travel while your passport application in process?
i am sorry if this question ask before

You need to submit your current passport when applying for British passport.
I am sometimes wrong.

We'll if you get your old passport in time while you apply for British passport yes you can travel.
But I guess you get in 12 full days your British pp anyways. :D
