EEA Family Permit for Mother & Benefit---Please Help

Hi there,
I am Portuguese national living and working in UK since 2010 and brought my wife and 2 children in March 2013 on EEA Permit. They have been issued with 5 years Permit. I had my son born here in April 2014. Although I am working full time but due to low pay I am claiming Working and Child Tax Credit as well as Council Tax and Housing Benefit.

I want to apply EEA Family Permit for my mother who is Non EEA National. My Question is.. Will my benefit claims affect her application at all in any way????

I am under impression it should not affect because I am working and can claim benefits which i am claiming. But I just wanted to have some further advice or if someone in same situation had any experience??
