SPONSORSHIP LETTER FOR SPOUSE VISA

Is it a mandatory requirement for the sponsor to include a sponsorship letter?

What should be included in it?

Can this be used https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... p-form.pdf ? Or is this form also required?

A sponsorship supporting letter is helpful as it gives you an opportunity to give brief background of you and your spouse ( ie how and where you met, how you intend to support your spouse if and when they arrive in UK, that you are in fact supportive of their application etc).

The SU07 is not required for spouse visa and should not be completed.This form is mainly for elderly dependants ( parents etc)applications.

Another thing, do I need to also send my passport copy + passport size photo with the visa documents?
