Dear Stokbrig,

Please read and browse through the page, because I can not tell you all exact details here.
There are many different updates throw out, to prevent the future migration and to protect British benefits.

I can mention some of them;
- Change to how they make decision, they may wanna call you in for interview if they want in the future for any doubt.
- for the language test, if they are in doubt about your English knowledge, they can ask you for interview too.
- They write in a law now, whether you hold permanent residence, it does not automatically you will get citizenship
- If they are in doubt about your 'good character ' they can refuse your application,, even you are not sentence in crime conviction. Only if they doubt that you are not a good character, they will refuse.
- They will check more in details about your NI and Taxation.
- They increased the Nationality checking service fee
- Some update regarding tofle and toic test
- More in the announcement please check.

Not sure whether the new update rule will be used to consider our already submitted application early this year or not.

I the want to apply new standard rule how they check and consider your application. This is going to be tough for the next year application.
Take care

" Hi there,
I am one of them who were waiting since mid Feb 2014. I have used all the thing to sort out progress but unfortunately it is the same stage when I was 10 month ago. Even I called several time MP but reply were the same from the home office.
your application is still Consideration and no time line for decision in my point of view this is clear discrimination but what can I do no body can helping. Hear is my timeline.
Submitted application through NCS SHEFFIELD ON 20 FEB 2014.
Acknowledgement letter received 01st Mar dated 26th Feb/14.
fee debited 26th February 2014. Then just sending Emails and letters to home office and MP.
Approval waiting. Now I will going to new hope for the new year. I think I and Brightside is the oldest member of this forum.
Best wishes.

Complaint letters and again contact my MP.
Let see what will happen.
I will keep you all updated.
..
I don't like to say, I feel like it is going to be over a year waiting time.

So sad..
They are doing something back there, so many people waiting but we don't know why we have to wait.

Dear Nika,

I am so sorry to hear you are still waiting, I feel for you.
I am almost in the same situation almost 1 year waiting for me too. And I have been calling, writing emails, letter to many department, contact MP many times.

My MP is great person, he helps asking and chasing, but seem that he does not know exactly what the insider in immigration department are doing, because he told me last 2 weeks ago that, the further checking still under processing. Same answer like last time.

I am waiting for responses from homeoffice because I have sent them complaint letters, I am in stress because 1 year is longest wait I have heard on the forum board, not know anyone waiting longer than 1 year.

If there is anyone waiting longer than a year now. Please share experience.

I believe we should hear some news soon, as new immigration rule, launch in December 2014.
They are now able to work and consider the applications under the new rule after holding everyone for months.. And months

Good luck Nika and everyone

Hello,
Any good news how many people are still waiting from FEB 2014. I am fed up now because everything I was done but it is just wasted time. This is clearly discrimination through Nationality and race, faith. Where is human right or UN.
