Child benefit won't be an issue.

See here for a bit more info on how benefits can affect EEA applications: https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... pter12.pdf.

Hi Chaoclive

Thank you for information however child benefit is still public fund and I am dependent on my wife ( Hungarian ). EEA4 during application do I have to tell Home Office that we receiving benefit ? we both are planning to apply for child benefit for my daughter but not sure it will be problem to obtain PR later stage.

Once again thank you for your support

The benefit isn't for you. It's for a European citizen (I assume your daughter has a Hungarian or British passport; am I right?).

Is your wife working? If so then it won't be any issue at all!

Child benefit will not affect your application. It's a benefit EU citizens (and their family members) are entitled to receive and it doesn't affect your status.
Assuming your wife had PR status before the birth, and the child was born in the UK, the child is also British (not that this changes anything with the child benefit).
