ILR for my Wife

Post by innocentdevil » Sun Jan 11, 2015 5:42 pm

Hi Friends,
Hope someone can double check for me.

I am a british citizen, got it last year.

My wife is my dependent on it, we changed it when I became citizen.

She originally came here in Juy 2011 and been here with me since apart from when she went back to Pakistan for 2.5 months for visit.

I believe I can apply for her ILR when her dependent visa runs out this march.

Am I correct in using SET(M).

If yes then following are the docs for cohabitation I am wanting to include as I don't think we will have 6 for her individually if I can't include the following.

1. Her GP Card
2. TV License in her name
3. Provisional Driving LIcense
4. Hospital docs referencing her when we had our kids
5. Police letter in her name( when we had burglary in our house)
6. Her bank statement

I will have 6 different docs for myself.

The documents we have in joint names are:
1. Council Tax (the only one I can think of)

my question is, if I have 2 joint docs then how many individual docs I will need.

I am thinking of posting the application but NCS is a better option as i will then not have to send my original docs (passport etc) over to UKBA.

Am I heading in the right direction or am I missing something obvoius.

and ohh she does have LIUK and B1 as a part of application.

Much appreciated.

What was her visa status before she switched to FLR(M)? Did she switch in country or from home country on VAF4A?

What are the start and end dates of all her visas she has held?

she applied as my dependent originally when we got married. She applied from Pakistan.

She switched to FLR(M) within UK and it was for 2 Years, ends this March.

We also have 2 children who were born in the UK, both are british.

Hope this helps.

thanks

I don't suppose this case is very different from any other. Has no one got any useful info on this ?
