Thank you of all board members for valuable guidance and direction.
Today I got my HSMP approval.

Application sent from India
Applicatio received by HO : 14th Aug.
Reference No.Received : 29th Aug.
HSMP Approved on : 30th Aug.
Approval letter with
original documents received: 10th Sept.

Now I am preparing to apply for EC. I need suggestion from senior members should I apply EC for my self only or for my spouse and childern also ?.

Senior member please reply.

@surat3912,

Congrats on your approval.

Reg EC, its your call on whether to take your spouse/kid as dependents. If you want to take them with you you should apply for them as dependents with seperate fees for them. If you dont want to apply & do it later you can still do it.

Hi,
this is in particular for ikon1400's query regarding E.C. The option to apply singly for yourself initially may be a practical one for the following reasons.
1. an approval from the HSMP team does not guarantee an Entry clearance.
2. With the BDHC fee hiked to Rs 17,056 per applicant, if the primary applicant is refused, the whole family will be denied entry clearance.
3. Also, unless u have a confirmed job offer from a U.K company, u are most likely to travel alone first.
Immigration law is mystery and a mastery in obfuscation, and the lawyers who can figure that out are worth their weight in gold.
