Dear forum members,
Does a husband/wife of ILR on 10 years basis have restrictions on his/her visa when his/her FLRM is approved by home office?
This question is targeted to those whose wifes/husbands have already obtained FLRM dependent visa after their husband/wife obtained ILR ( settlement) based on SET ( LR ) application
Thank you in advance as you reply/respond to my query.

Hello everyone,

After receiving a fiancee visa in September my wife moved to the UK, married me in October and we applied for FLR(m) on 20th December. We received our acknowledgment of application letter on the 27th December. Obviously with Christmas/New years I expected some sort of delay but as of yet we're yet to receive the Biometric letter yet on the majority of cases i've spotted on this site most people have received it within 5-10 days. Even though it's only been a week more than that is it normal for this letter to be delayed by a number of days?

Also as it's a standard settlement application and they have already previously approved my wife for the fiancee visa how long on average will this take?

Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated :)

Hi can anyone help me with this question on FLRM(form). I recently got ILR and filling the form for my wife. She has got tier 1 (Genereal)Partner visa. The following is a question which is very confusing. Please can any experience person advise me on the below question.

Section(2)

Is this the first time you have applied for a visa or extension of stay in one of the above
categories (including previous leave granted as a fiancé(e) or proposed civil partner) with your
current sponsor?
Yes No

2.3 Please indicate what stage of extension of leave you are applying for or why you are
choosing to extend your current leave in one of the above categories.

-->First period of leave to remain (following an initial period of entry clearance as a partner of a
settled person, or following an initial period of entry clearance as a fiancé(e) or proposed civil
partner of a settled person - 6 months)

-->Second period of leave to remain (following initial grant of leave to remain).

-->You are making a first application from within the UK but have not previously had leave to
enter/remain as a partner.

Honorable members of forum
I applied for ilr on basis of 10 years in November 2014 and my wife applied on FLR(M) in Jan 2015 and we send covering letter with her application to hold her application until mine decided. she got acknowledgement letter as normal. today we got biometric enrollment invitation letter from home office. FIRST letter is on her name and our home address. second letter and third with bar code are starting with my name and our address. after case reference it says regarding applicant which is my wife name and date of birth, nationality etc. biometric letters stating my name not with my wife`s, is that normal or should i call home office and ask them if its wrong. please reply if you know thanks in advance

Hello

I will be applying for my FLR(M) visa soon as I have got ILR status. I want to confirm one thing.

My wife applied for the Tier 2 dependent about four (4) years ago during that application she has taken her IELTS (General) examination. As IELTS are only valid for two years, will that be acceptable for English requirement for FLR (M). Or she need to sit for the exam again?

I will really appreciate if some one can shadow their expertise on this matter, as matter of urgency. Please can you also provide any reference.

Thanks
Hasher

Dear Friends,

I need professional advise please.

My previous visa was granted on the basis of Tier 2 General and my wife was dependent of it i.e. Tier 2 general dependent visa. That visa was valid until March 2017.

I have now received my ILR on 10th January 2015 on the basis of 10 year route and therefore i need to change my wife dependent category through FLR(M) application.

I have following questions:

Is there any time limit in which i shall apply for my wife visa? keep in mind her previous visa is still valid until 2017.

Is 28 days rule apply on her i.e. she need to submit FLR (M) application within 28 days of my ILR?

She need to do English test, and she may get result in March. Is it a good idea to submit her application to home office now while stating on the cover letter that english language certificate will be provided later. This is just to keep us on the safe side of 28 days rule.

Please advise urgently .

thanks

Regards
Desi Pakora :)

Hi everyone,

I have received my ILR (10 Years) today and I am going to apply for my wife's visa (FLR M) in next couple of days. I need some advice from the members of the forum,
I am self employed and I am going to submit my last financial year's tax returns and all related documents with the application. The last financial year ended on 31st of March 2014.
My question is do I need to submit the accounts (Provisional) for the past 12 months? I called HO and they advised to submit last 12 months bank statements but the only statements does not explain the earnings. I need to £18600 earnings to qualify.

Any help and advise is highly appreciated.

Thanks.

Hello all member…
Can somebody guide which visa my wife (my dependant) need to apply?
Main applicant me: got visa on 14/01/2015 ILR on 10 year basis
Previous I was tier 1 general applicant
Wife dependant: visa start from 01/08/2014 to 15/07/2015 as a tier 1 dependant
As I change my category from tier 1 general to ILR on long residency.
Which visa did she need to apply to stay on my dependant? And what’s its requirement?
Please can anybody send me list of documents require for visa?
I have baby which born on 20/01/2015 after I got ILR .So I think she will get British passport straight away? Can somebody confirm it as well please?
Thank you guys in advance.

You need to apply through FLR (M) application for your spouse and she will have to spend further 5 yrs to be eligible for ILR. Bear in mind her previous stay in the UK will be null and void and will not be considered towards her ILR. Main requirement are minimum £18600 house hold income and A1 level English level certificate or equivalent, full requirements are mentioned in FLR M form.
As you child born after you got ILR so you just need to pick up passport application form from post office, attach baby's full birth certificate, your passport and ILR BRP and post it with the prescribed fee.
