As I'm not sure from what date I should be counting from.
Hubby applied online on the 13th of November and documents were submitted at Lahore on the 28th of November.

Application processing times starts from the date of Biometrics/ document submission (NOT the online application submission)

Hope I hear tom but just got a feeling its rejected bcz only recieved one email with no ref so feel really down.

We also applied on 23rd Oct (KHI) and have yet to hear anything

My wife's application process is almost the same as yours. We applied in Karachi too on 24th October but have yet to hear anything. As soon as we get some news, we'll let everyone know. Also, congrats Girl786!!!

From my experience if you have have received 2 emails you have definitely got the visa.

BUT if you have received only one email it doesn't mean you have been rejected, you could also have the visa approved. Some people have received visas and only received one email. So you will only know when you open the passport. Don't lose hope.

Ive been married since 3years now and have a little child im bringin up on my own, its really hard being a single parent and I dont have any family support aswl.... Everyone please pray for me, my child needs his mother and father.

Escalate the application as they are processing October

I really hope your husband gets the visa. I will remember you in my duas. I applied only few days after you so expecting a email or something this week max next week coz they looking at us october applications for mirpur.

The visa is given for 33 months. You need to have spent 30 months (2.5 years) in the UK before applying for further leave to remain (FLRM). Therefore you have 3 months to travel within but Ideally you should come as soon as. If you arrive after 3 months it will still be fine but this will require you to apply for an extension to complete 2.5 years (more money and hassle) before you can apply for the FLRM

Their stats are improving every month, but I wouldn't get too excited because its most applications in 120 working days, NOT 4 calendar months. If you factor in weekends and public holidays, it's more like 6 calendar months

My wife gave her application into Islamabad on 22/10/14. She received a phone call this morning to come and collect tomorrow. I have only received one email but that email is from VFS global and goes like this

From : VFS GLOBAL
To: GWFXXXXXXXXX

Application received from the post CRM : 00XXXXX

Dear XXXXXX,

The processed visa application for GWF Reference number GWFXXXXXXXXX was received at the UK visa application centre on 1/20/2015.

If a courier service was purchased from VFS global, your processed application will be delivered to the chosen address.

If not, your documents can be collected during the designated passport collection times.

There is a ref number but it does not begin with 1761.. I did not get any other emails. I am really confused. Does this sound like bad news? Also does anyone know the collection times?

INSHALLAH your wife gets her visa. Please do let us know as so the two email theory can be seen to be working or not. I applied on 24th october from mirpur and got my case escalated today so hope to hear in few days. As maria said it be good to know about 1 or 2 email.

We just got review deadline yet.
Minimum within how many weeks they normaly overturn (if they want to)

Nope! Thats the odd thing. Nothing whatsoever from BHC. No emails / contact since the day i applied. Just the email from VFS Global and the call from Gerrys. Thank you for the messages of support everyone. Dos anyone know the collection times from Islamabad??

My appeal was overturned in december, got a call in letter to submit passport which we did on the 8th, just wanted to know how long for it to get bk. It takes up to 12 weeks for a review if not then you will gey a court date!
