When I ask him that why I was told that it is under consideration and he replied that it's is underconsidaration .

Hi - just a quick question which you're obviously free to not tell me - but did you find that using solicitors was worth it? And would you consider providing their details?

Many thanks. :-)

Looks its taking a week for Home Office to deduct fee. Is this common or has any one seen delays?

Yes....usually takes about a week (7 days) or thereabout before the HO deducts the fees from applicants' accounts. The challenge is not the deduction but early processing of applications and giving approvals.

Hi pinky72,
Its depend on how you basically wants to get your services done. I found quit good applying through immigration consultant firm( one of the best in London). My HSMP->Tier1->ILR->Naturalisation( Citizenship). As they done the all of the ealier process that's why I have gone to them for my final step even though it was straight forward case. If you interested then I can give the firm's name and I think I should not share this here.
Thank you

Update on my case
I applied on May
I used NCS
After writing to my MP YEsterday and I made a call to HO customer contact number .
I have asked them to invesitgate this .
I got called today FROM HO and guess what
THEY LOST MY FILE .
THEY ARE TRYING THERE BEST TO LOOK FOR my file.
I used NCS as we'll
I had a long conversation with her and she explain me the process
The process
They received the document the check are done before it assign to the case worker
Once it's finish then it assign to case worker who make decision and think what to do next .
They did not tell me which check they carry. Out

If you are asking me. Yes i did. I emailed them few times and got the typical reply " under consideration ". I wonder how long does it take to consider an application. When they decide some applications within few weeks and ours taking 7-8 months.

This is super quick processing from HO. Its just so hard to predict a pattern of their processing times for any application.
Congrats though.

If it helps anyone, I did have 2 speeding convictions (one in 2007 and one in 2014 - both were 3 points on license + fine for which I did not go to court) and I diligently declared both on the application form.

This is a joke, my daughter and I have been just sent the following "letter" after I wrote a lengthy email last December and after writing to my local MP:

"I am writing in regard to your outstanding application for British Citizenship.

We aim to process all application within 6 months from the date submitted.
However, in certain circumstances this target is not possible. Following our assessment of your case, unfortunately it appears your application will not be processed within the 6 month target.

Following recent clarification of the Nationality rules greater levels of scrutiny will be applied to certain applications. This will be dependent on certain indicators within their immigration history that pre-date the application for British Citizenship.

We expect to make a decision on your application within the next 3-6 months, but we will write to you again if this is not going to be possible. Please note we will contact you with further updates and can advise you do not need to contact us again unless your circumstances change significantly.

This also applies to any family members whose applications for citizenship were submitted at the same time.

Yours sincerely."

I believe the HO is sending template letters to all long outstanding applications, and I do believe our application has not been dealt with because the "guidelines" for greater scrutiny were published in December, well 6 months after applying, and I fail to understand how it can apply to my daughter when she was born, raised an educated in this country....

I still have to wait from my MP, but in the mean time I have sent a complaint email to HO.

Good luck to the rest of you.
