Post by vndpag » Tue Jan 06, 2015 8:34 am

HI Gurus

I need some advice on my daughter citizenship and her passport here is short story

We both arrived September 2009 to UK ( Hungarian & Indian)
Got Married in July 2011 ( EU national )
we both Received Resident permit in October 2011 ( EEA1 & EEA2 )
My wife applied Permanent resident 2014
My wife Permanent Resident received on 02 December 2014
Child born on 18 December 2014
My Wife on Maternity Leave until October 2015

Is my Daughter is eligible for apply British passport without registered as British Citizen or do I have to fill MN1 form ? We want to travel to Hungary in April I do not know where to start.

Thank you and hoping to hear from you soon

Hi Vinny

Thank you for your reply and I am sorry for delay to reply you. I did applied online for my daughter British passport and waiting to hear the news, I checked the online status it says declaration form has been received and processed. I applied on 03 Feb 2015 and send by post the declaration form on 5 Feb 2015.

I assume if everything is fine they will issue the passport next week.

I will update the post one I received so others can have benefit of reading and can apply same situation like us.

Once again thank you for your support and GOD bless this website which so many people have benefited.
