Translation of Birth Certificate

It is very true that one wont be able to send a P60, if the claim period starts after April 2006 - till date. My wild guess is he may have submitted for the last year (even though, it may have not covered the entire period he is claiming for).

I will soon be submitting my application and will be claiming earnings for the last 8 months. I wont have a P60. Instead i am submitting payslips and bankstatements along with offer letters.

Hi Ya,
For Birth Certificate Translation. You can contact Global Translators UK Ltd.
Look to be fair enough we are supplying translations to translation agencies in UK. i charge only £25 from them and can imagine what they are charging from clients sometimes more than £71. its a loot. i know one member here on forum. i myself translated his Birth Certificate and he was charged £71 for that as it was through other agency.
I want to save people from this loot but John deletes all my messages saying i am not allowed to advertise on this website.
If you want any help please feel free to contact me. My contact is raman@globaltranslators.co.uk www.globaltranslators.co.uk Mob 0044-7883024604 Tel and Fax 01634-408040

Aug 30: Application posted via special delivery
Aug 31: Fee charged

Called them and know it's assigned to a case worker.
But still waiting...don't know why it takes that long this month.

Initial visa will be expired on Sep 29.

Need help regarding quelification section in ext form

Post by hskhan2008 » Thu Apr 10, 2008 2:25 pm

hi
i am going to apply for my hsmp extension, and i am using Tier 1 general application form, in this form in qualification section they ask the question
Please indicate the applicant’s method of degree verification:
under this question they are giving 3 options

1. Qualification on the Self-Assessment Tool
2. Qualification not on the Self-Assessment Tool but a NARIC letter and/or certificate is enclosed
3. Qualification not on the Self-Assessment Tool but a NARIC letter and/or certificate was provided with the applicant’s initial Tier 1 (General) application

As i am going to apply for hsmp extension do i need to select the 3rd options, and the main confusion is what evidence i have to provide to support this

thanks & regards

Hi hskhan,
In the BIA website there is a Self Assessment tool to check whether you will be qualified or not.

http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/pointscalculator

If your university is there in that tool you can select first box, if not you need to send your documents to NARIC for assessment and you need to include that letter from NARIC along with the applicatiom.

I think this will clear your doubt.

Thanks,
Raj.

Thank you Raj for your help, one more thing in this case do i need to provide any evidance if i select the first option, because in the Tier 1 guide it is mentioned that If the applicant has previously been granted leave under Tier 1 (General) or the Highly Skilled Migrant Programme, and
previously scored points for the same qualification for which he
wishes to claim points in his current application, the applicant
need not resubmit any evidence of his qualification.

Thanks & Regards

My HSMP extension has been granted for 3 more years (1+3 category) under new Tier1 rules.

Application sent on 08 April 2008
Application received and fee deducted the next day
Application approved on 28 April 2008 and received today (took two days for the recorded delivery).

It was the last extension so am hoping that they don't now change rules for ILR, you never know though.

How much fee they deducted? How long you were on HSMP here in UK?

Hey everyone:

I just got my renewal under Tier 1 as follows -

Sent 24-04-08
Received 25-04-08
Acknowledgement Received - 28-04-08
Approved - 21-05-08
Stamped - 23-05-08
Received - 29-05-08

Interestingly, there is a gap between my old HSMP permission and the new visa. I contacted the HO and they said that they now show the visa date as of the date it's issued and it should not be a problem for when I apply for ILR. I'm keeping all the paperwork just in case.

Also, they sent my partner's passport back separately. The HO seemed surprised, but checked to make sure it was sent, which it was. Haven't received it yet, though. :?

UKBound, what you mean gap in the Visa ? was the Visa granted for 3 years from the day old permission expires ?

The old visa expired on 6May, but the new one, which looks different doesn't have a Valid From date, but it says issued on 23May..

I called and they said that it's no issue, it's just the way they do it now and not to worry. Like I said, I'm keeping the paperwork to show it was submitted/accepted in April before the old one expires, just in case there's a problem when I apply for ILR in 3 years!
