Regarding Investors Visa

Hi All

My brother in law wants to setup business in UK. He has asked me if I open a company initially here in UK and then he invest his money, is that going to help him in any way? I am a British national and he thinks that if I become his business partner, he got more chances of getting the investors visa. Could you please confirm?

Personally I think that it wont make any difference as long as you are fulfilling the requirements of the visa you will get the visa, but I just wanted to make sure.
