Extension of Work Permit

Hi,

Currently I am working in US and have requested my company tp place me in UK. I already have UK work permit but that expires on 31 Dec-2007.

Given that the the work permit was issued from India, Can the application for the extension of the same be made from US?

How do you have a UK work permit if you are working in US? If your working for the same company short term in US then it might not be a problem however if you are not working in UK your UK work permit becomes invalid

for you to extend your UK work permit you would need to prove that you have been working in the UK and paying taxes etc
