Hello, Guies, i am also the one among those who applied in January and still waiting for the result, meanwhile, many others have been approved in short time. i do not understand the HO criteria dealing with application. If the do CRB check on each application for example then CRB checking department must have a time scale to issue certificate then how some people are approved within one week or two weeks? It is required to do CRB check for each application anyway. Obviously there are a lot other more requirements to be fulfilled for approval that takes bit of time. So keep finger crossed and let hope for the positive outcomes. What can we do if there is a delay because the ball is not in our pocket.
Dont take stress and dont assume that home office clearing JAN applications first, you just seen less than 30 people who applied in JAN and may be 20 got quick approvals in this forum, which is not even 5% of applications they receiving every month . in rough calculations HO receiving average more than 7000 applications every month. So we cant judge HO performance here in this forum because not every one updating here. Just wait and relax

CRB is just one factor and it's not entirely within the HO's control because according to the form they do it with the country of the applicant's current nationality.

So which nationalities are processed quicker? And which form are you referring to?

I wouldn't know which nationalities as I don't work for the Home Office.

I thought they would have done these checks everytime you apply for a UK visa/ILR and those applications are processed much quicker and in order of application date, but the naturalisation applications tend to be processed in a random order which no one seems to know why?!

Hi guys,

I've got a question. Sorry if that's a bit silly one :)

I have sent my application 3 weeks ago and I was wondering if I send the CRB check results to HO, would that be something acceptable for them and that might speed up the process? My employer recently did CRB check and I got an e-mail today that saying it's been completed. Does anyone have an idea?

Uhh if I were you, I'd leave it. Don't complicate matters further as they don't appear to be very organised.

My friend i will advice you do not make the application process complicated for yourself, just send HO the document they require or ask for and let them do their job, sit back and relax whilst you wait for you approval.

Hi,

I sent my Naturalisation application on 08/10/2014. I sent it myself from overseas (Germany) as I am in the British Army. I wrote to the HO to request a return of my passport 3 weeks ago. I got a call from the HO yesterday (25/03/15) to confirm my information and the detailed reasons why I require the passport. After confirming to them they appeared fine with my request. And they assured me they will process the return of my passport.

I used that opportunity of speaking to them to confirm that I am soon approahing my 6th month of waiting, can they please confirm the status of my application?

The response was that '' Yes we can see your application is in the pipeline but as yet it hasn't been assigned to any caseworker''
I died a lil inside after hearing that. I guess from the way things are going, I will certainly fall within those having to wait extra 3-6 months.

I am running out of ideas and options to get my mind off this experience.

Is anyone having the same dramas as me? If any can you please share your experiences?

I know at the end of the day All things shall come to pass.

Hello sir.

Yes I got the similar headache, I am in UK and made my application in the UK on 27 September 2014 the Home Office received on 29 Sept. I have contacted them several times but their idiotic and agonising response is "your case is under consideration" I cannot tell how long it will remain like that.

But seriously The torries lead home office is nearly broken
