Could you please us how did you get your documents back before the decision made. Did that effect the decision (means the application treated as withdrawn?)

Your help will be much appreciated.

Thanks

you have to asked them to return your traveling documents so you could travel as like me.

when you request to return the documents, their is one question "Do you want to withdraw your application?"
YES or NO, click on NO, I received my documents with in 4 days. and they send documents with letter which is also showing my details and they were asking if there is any mistake of spelling , DOB etc please inform us otherwise these details will show on original certificate.

What I have learn t through out my application process.

What ever you do, who ever you ask to write on your behalf to the Home Office, nothing will change their mind, from that immigration inspector's report on December have messed up all the process, they got an excuse to intermingle our hope, so I will advise everyone of us to be patient, don't over complicate your cases, don't send over something which the Home Office don't requested, remember if you send a document which may think it will simplify your case, I am sure it will ten times complicate.

There is thousands and thousands of backlog cases at the Home office stack rooms, they don't have a time to review each document, just simply send the essential documents, if you for example send a CRB check document, they may suspect and put your case on the desk bin.

Don't email them before the 6 months specified time, if you do; then your application may be delayed, that is what I have learn't

When you hit and passed the six months time, just ask your local Mp to contact them on your behalf, your Mp is more powerful than any other legal body, if you even pay a solicitor or legal team they don't give a shit, excuse my words, I mean it.

Patient is powerful tool, I will advise you myfriends to be patient, I know and fully understand I was out of patient, and I think the reason my case is delayed that long is I lost that patience.

I wish everyone of you for success and you will get your green or so called yellow envelopes soon.

Application Timeline
Eligibility criteria: 3yr spouse of BC
Method of application: Royal Mail next day signed for
Date sent: 18/03/15
Date of receipt by UKBA: 19/03/15
Date of debit of fees:
Date of receipt of acknowledgement:
Date of receipt of approval:
Date of Ceremony:

I've yet the receive confirmation of receipt and no fees been taken.

I'm starting to wonder if it was delivered to the correct place.
The other problem I have is that I was out of the country on 4 April 2012 and am not sure if they count from when they send confirmation or from when they actually receive the application as in when they sign for it

I would feel a lot better if I knew they had it. Would it be worth calling to just to see if it had been delivered correctly?

Hi Scottdougie I have the same timelines and have applied thru NCS. No fees deducted as yet...have been checking balance on hourly basis. Hope they don't take long for the decision or it doesn't get stuck between a big stack of applications.

Good luck and Keep posting updates!!

I don't see GCSE as an acceptable list of English Test here:

https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... r_2014.pdf

Are you referring to GESE?

No

I did my secondary school GCSEs and A levels here and now I am in my 3rd year of a 4 year course in the university. I don't know if there is a way to escape this without having to write another test since I haven't yet got my degree and all these where taught in English in the UK. Any advise will be appreciated

Since you applied on 31st March, you could have gone with old forms as the new forms only go live on 6th April. Did you also pay the new fee?

I started preparing for my application a month ago and I am not eligible to apply until 10th April 2015, I just saw that the form and fees has changed and my form is all filled up by referees, is it necessary to use the new form ? I will surely pay the new fees but the form I don't want to change as my referees live far away and I had to do a lot of work to get the referee signatures.

This is getting on my nerves now. Can somebody tell me if I can call the Home office and check about this. I am going bonkers

I plan to apply on 11th April by post.

I am afraid you need to fill in new form as they have sections for bio metrics as well
