sounds like ur application is being dealt with and is at final stage of decision being made, hopefully that something will be a decision and not a further delay letter and u will get an aproval in 2 weeks. Keep in mind if HO is gona take 2 weeks then royal mail will take another week to deliver ur brown envelope so may b altogether 3 weeks.

If u r ok in telling then
was ur case straight forward?
Did u have any convictions, PCNs, Points etc?
Which route did u use for ur naturalisation?
Anything u can think of which can cause this long delay?

Guys i always call on 03001232253...choose 1st option than 3rd option its a general no ...my case was streight forward married to british citizen....no conviction nothing i dont knw why they r taking so long anyways lets see wat ll happen in two weeks time ...hopefully it ll b decision letter but u never knw ...hope for best...best of luck to everyone...everytime i rang in 11 months time they always said its under consideration but this time the guy who answered my phone he said 11 months it long time im refering u to senior case worker he ll get back to u asap than i had call u ll get something in two weeks time i said hav u guys made any decision he replied no or yes i couldnt hear properly but it seems something is coming in two weeks he said he dont knw wats in der....

I also called HO to ask whats happening with my app, and i was told i will be contacted by someone from the case working team after an hr or two someone called me and after asking them a few questions he told he cant tell me anything but they will send me a letter explaining the cause of the delay and why my app has taken this long. I didn't know what to say am just waiting for that letter to see what it says. will post an update here. applied 13 May.

Hi musto last dec wen i rang ho nd i asked lady am i expecting any letter she said yes but that letter is saying the cause of delay of ur application nothing more so already knew dat wats in the letter this time guy said he doesnt knw wats in der its still mayb the same letter saying the same things so that means i shouldnt hope i ll get approval letter it ll b the same letter bcz u got call as well like me ...now im hopeless again...

Just an update from the letter i was promised it would explain the delay of my my case..
Dear Mr xxx
Blah blah blah blah changes to the immigration rules means we have to do extra checks and unfortunately your case fall under that category blah blah blah blah blah. I think you all know where this is going, I mean they cant even write a different line its just copy and paste absolutely rubbish.

Hello my brothers nd ur sisters finally brown envelope arrived today morning ...thanks to Allah ..i applied on 2nd may 2014 so it took more than 11 months to approved my application...thank u very much guys for ur moral support nd be ready for ur letters as well

Check my timeline mate u ll find all the answers i didnt have any conviction or points....

Finally received the most awaited brown envelop. Applied on 14 May 2014 and received 16 April 2015.
Hope u all get soon. Asked for further enquiry at NationalityEnquiries@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk and also made the complaint at UKVIComplaintsLiverpool@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk. Received response around 20 days later saying rules has changed etc and your case has been identified as one of those of previous history. However received counsellor mail few days later asking to confirm address as I moved and updated address online. Anyway it's all done and wish you all the very best of luck.
