Congratulations! I am also having a private ceremony today at Newham council! I was told £85 on the phone, exact change in cash. You had a spouse visa right, and you got ILR and was out of the UK for three months, Well you needed to make up that three months to complete three years before you could apply for ILR. Now say you applied for naturalization on the 3rd March' 2015, then on the same date the 3rd March' 2014 you had to have been present in the UK. Yes, based on this, you meet the requirement of being physically present in the UK, 3 years before your application date. Note however, it's the date the HO receive your application that you need to count back from. Yes you had to physically be in the UK three years before on the date of your application.
