Minimum no. of years sanctioned for tier 2 visa general

Dear all,

I have signed a contract for 1.5years with a company. Now I am applying for tier 2 general (upto 3 years). How many years will I get my visa approved?. Will it be only for 1.5 years or will this visa is according to my Res.COS?

what is the work end date given in the CoS?

Dear all

As per my COS the approved working dates are 1.5 years.
Now can I keep my inted stay period more than 1.5 years say 2.5 years?
Will there be any risk of visa getting rejected?

My work dates are 1st june 2015 to 30 nov 2016. Please advice
