Standard Visitor Visa Help

Hello All

I am planning to bring my parents to UK for 3 months. I don't have any issues with my dad as he is working and has bank account and house on his name. on the other side my mum don't work or have any bank account or any property on her name.

How can my mum prove strong ties to her home country?

U can show her family ties like other children's , sister brothers etc and also she is married so obviously she will live with her husband so not a big issue

What visa category are you applying under? I am in the same boat and applying for my parents visa to visit me here, but when we go to file an application on visa4uk, it only still comes as Family Visitor Visa and doesn't reflect the fact that it has been changed to Standard visitor visa.

Can someone help here?

You have to select General Visitor Visa in the application. Family visa is valid in the form if you are a local citizen as per rules governing the website
