Working holiday to Work permit

Dear all,

This message i am posting on behalf of my friend, he is a working holiday maker. Currently working as Operational clerk in a reputed courier company with a salary of 18K. He likes to know, is there any possibilities to convert into work permit. His job may go permanent based on the work permit and his employer may accept to apply for work permit, if it possible.

He is concerned whether, work permit will be granted for this kind of clerical works? Or is there any other way to get work permit.
