Hi people i applied for my husband on the 25th feb no news yet just the acknowledgment. I called the HO and a guy called me back yesterday. He said my husbands file has not been looked at yet and still on going in for a long wait feb applicants.

So does it mean they started working on feb applications.

it means nothing

They use the excuse of on going....they are still getting rid of decembers so we have atleast another few months before anyone looks at ours.

I have also contacted HO by Phone and Email to check my status, standard replies(under process wait till six months and contact us back) received on both occasions .... My colleague ex-US citizen applied on same day but diff NCS got approval and passport, wondering why it is taking some application much longer to decide... not sure factors like a) owning house here b) duration spent on ILR 3) staying at one place for x years... make any difference.. waiting for is frustrating

Well to be fair, a lot of people in February also got their confirmations in 3 weeks. I guess it's your luck whether you'll be one of the 3-week people or the 6-9 month people..

I think the UKVI guys have applied reverse gear. Gonna move backwards, starting from the last week of March. It's gonna be our (Feb Applicants) turn then. I hope so. Another team is working on December applications which is moving forward. Stay optimistic, guys.

Not to scare you guys there are people From May 2014 timeline still waiting. So don't have high hopes and juts carry on with the life. It will come when it is meant to be. Talking about December, March and April proves nothing. Some of the candidates are from low risk countries too so it does not take longer plus "Other" factors count too. HO takes its time anyway and even after 6 months they can say, wait for another 6 months as further time required to process the application. But good luck anyway

Hi guys. No idea on what criteria or how they solve each case. My address was wrong on the system, never received the ackn letter. Also had points on my driving licence (expired).

I requested a call back from the case worker as i wanted to check wether they have wrong address (they have messed up earlier) and may be due to this all communication is going to wrong place.

the guy confirmed that address is right and application is in under consideration and waiting no further documentation / paper from me. so basically as i said they are just sitting on application. I guess it is a luck which desk your application land.

I have asked HO to return my documents back since 20th of the last month, and still have not received any respond yet. 0_o

That's what happened with me. I received my passport after one and half month. If documents aren't returned back after ten working days, u need to report it via ukvi website or give them a call at 03001232253.

Seems so strange / illogical / unfair that you can apply mid april and receive good news in 3/4 weeks
and others are waiting far , far longer !!
