Strengthening Canadian Citizenship Act

Do you guys know about the new New residency requirements included in the Strengthening Canadian Citizenship Act. I guess they are supposed to come to effect this summer, see this http://www.gands.com/latest-news/new-ph ... orce-soon/. This one is going to make achieving a Canadian citizenship an even more difficult task. What do you think of this new additions to the act? How is it going to affect immigration to Canada?
