January 2015 - Naturalisation Application Timeline

Update... Applied on 15 january and still waiting !

I have received all my documents ( indefinite travel document and all supported documents) back with a letter saying to send urgently my old travel document ( 5 year live to remain) .The letter dated on 18 may and received on 21 may.
The letter specified that the old travel document is needed to prove the residency requirement.

I found this link about residency requirement.I didn't read at this stage of stress !

Above 4 month and 1 week now,hope the best for everyone including me!

Eligibility criteria: 3 years + 1 year ILR + Spouce of BC
Language criteria met (UK degree, exempt countries, PBS used documents, NARIC, or B1 test): LIUK & ILETS
Current nationality: Pakistan
Method of application: NCS Aberdeen
Date of application: 15/01/15
Payment method CC/DC, Personal cheque, Bankers cheque etc: CC
Date of receipt by UKBA: 19/01/15
Date of acknowledgment: 24/01/15
Date of debit or clearance of fees: 22/01/15
Date approval received: 21/05/15 (letter dated 12/05/15)
Date of ceremony: 02/06/15


Finally after the wait of 4 months.............Got approval letter yesterday and booked the citizenship ceremony on 2nd June. Best of luck to all who are still waiting.

It means UKVI are working on january applications from the last 2 weeks at least. So we are expecting many more approvals in the next few days.

Havn't seen any approvals for Jan in this week, Pls update guys!, fingers crossed! pray for us! last week only three !!

Still waiting guys ... Got my hopes up after seeing a few Jan updates but I guess the case workers haven't returned back from their bank holiday mode yet ... Or may be they were now instructed to leave the remaining Jan applications and work on other months ... Who knows? It's anybody's guess.

Will update as soon as there is one. Fingers crossed!

Same here Slam Dunk,
Looking at the mail box everyday is a worse nightmare I ever had in my life. It is like prison sentence for 6 months with out any updates/ anything. If they say no means we can move on to our normal life, or decide something else..unfortunately Until mid July we cant do anything!( 6 months )

With the Grace of Almighty, I have received my approval today. I am a passing reader only rarely use this form, but to give you all hope who are waiting. I applied on the 21/01/2015 and today i have received the long awaited envelope. The inital process of fee and acknowledgement was quick but then it all went silent. This is the 5th Application for January apllicants this week 4 have been mentioned on this page one has been mentioned in the unsuccessful page so have hope...5 replies mean they are currently doind Dec/Jan apps. I wish all best of luck who are waiting and pray your long awaited journey comes to an end soon.
