The home office calls are actually handled by a call centre who do not have any information. they will try to shrug u off. U have to be a bit persistent. Then they will log a referral which might take 10 working days (as of now still waiting for their call). Really frustrating. pathetic service.

At what address did you write to HO? And what does SD mean?

OK guys, it has officially been 6 weeks from applying and the fee has not been taken yet. Surely if something was wrong with my card (and I am 100% sure nothing is wrong on my side), I would have received letter asking me for new payslip. I begin to wonder if they lost my application. Is that even possible? Do you advice to call them (which number?) or write to them?

First, call NCS office and ask them for special delivery number. Tell them you have not heard anything from HO and want to ensure your application was received at their end.

You can also try 03001232253 option 1 and 4. But I would strongly recommend NCS first.

Update: I called HO and told them above story again, lady opened a case and took my details. She told me somebody from HO would call in next 3 working days to tell what happened with my biometric invitation letter. I really don't understand as HO have made a mess of the situation by not being consistent with their biometrics policy...

I think there are lot of people do not receive their biometrics letters, I applied on 13/04 and biometrics never arrive. I know others call HO and been told to send an email, have you sent email first and then called HO?

* The processing times have been growing, for all those that have gotten approvals.
* People at the end of March, still haven't gotten approvals. There are no April approvals.
* Of those who were approved, only one had to wait over 60 days
* In contrast, to this all the late March people and 8 people from early April have now been waiting for over 60 days.
