Urgent :P60 and Employment History -Amounts

Post by VijayUK » Wed Jun 03, 2015 8:11 am

Hi,

I have appointment next week for ILR and I have this question on Tier1G - SETO.

During my Initial period i.e, 1st year of my qualifying period I was employed in UK only for 8 months and my pay was very less.. so tax paid is also less. All my employment are perm.

later I joined other Company and there is significant increase in pay.

does that matter to caseworker or as Long as I have paid all the taxes it is fine ?

Regards
Vijay B

Hi

You need to show only last 12 months out of 15 months according to earning points needed . It doesn't require all 5 years same earnings.

Thanks

For ILR, you need to show HO that you are economically active during your Tier1 G visa but like Kashif830 said, you need to get points for earnings same as initial application (i.e consecutive last 12 months out of 15 months)

Points is absolutely fine. There is no problem.

Out of work for 4 months I cannot be economically active. will that be a problem ?
I am otherwise completely active.

4 months in that Qualifying year also I have P60 and included in employment history.

H Vijay/Nikki,

I am not 100% sure but I think it should not be a problem. You have to be economically active but that does not mean you have to work each and every day of these 5 years. Even I was without a job for around a month. I think the point is that you have to show that even if you were without a job, you were actively trying to find a job here or you were not seeking a job in any other country.
For your absence, I think if you just show that you went home for personal visit, it should be fine.

That's fine, so long as you meet the absence threshold for those years. As has already mentioned in this thread you do not need to be in continuous employment over the entire residence period to be considered economically active.
