February-2015 Naturalisation Application Timeline

I am so excited as I received a red card from the post man which has the same track number of the prepaid envelop I submitted with my application. I am going now to the post office

I am little bit disappointed, they just sent me my passport and RC which I requested 2 months ago.
so, no approval letter yet.

HO told me in their email dated on 9th June that they will be dispatching a decision letter. But so far I didn’t receive any letters. Do I need the approval letter or the ceremony invitation letter to book for the ceremony???

I am worried that both letters getting lost in the post..

Whats the date on the letter

Thankyou Imran ,latter dated 13th june 2015 , £906 application fee paid ............and they still use Royal Mail 2nd class post . Once again Good luck for your good news.

Hi All,

I applied on 10th Feb via Islington Council in London, today I receieved the brown letter. To my disappointment, the letter was not an approval but case worker requesting all my original documents. Funny thing is that case worker has also asked for my original Life in UK certificate, when the original was submitted with my application. To make things worse, I am travelling abroad for two weeks and cannot send originals - so I have sent HO an email to notify. Fingers crossed

Has anyone else had a similar experience?

HO asked me for an older passport. But I didn't use NCS, I posted all my docs and then requested them back once I found out they will take ages. Sent it last week so still awaiting reply.

I got brown envelope yesterday from HO dated 19 June 2015. Was very excited but suddenly my excitement changed into sadness. HO asked me my original documents (Passport and Degree certificate)

My application is straight forward i-e

Application date 12 Feb 2015 through Old ham NCS
Fee Deducted 20 Feb 2015
Acknowledge received 24 Feb 2015

Anyway i have posted all my originals yesterday and hoping for all the best for myself and for everyone.

Why they allow NCS if they dont accept their photo copies. UKVI are making it their habbit to request docs. Requesting docs mean another 4 weeks wait.

Quick debit aswell for you...HO seem to be deducting June applicants quite efficiently

Have the NCS photocopied every page of your passport? nothing to worry

Yes they did all my documents photocopies

i didnt ask but i dont think its required since theyve seen the originals so not all pages are required

What about the Life in UK Certificate - NCS keeps the original, thats what happened in my case.

Approval letter received on 25/06/2015 dated 12 June 2015. Good Luck to all Feb applicants.

congratulations, you took about 4 months and half to get your approval.

I completed 4 months today.

Same happened with me!

I think they are doing random checks on some of the applicants, i have sent mine on Wednesday as well and provided the prepaid envelop to send my original docs back

Please keep us posted in term any updates including returning you documents
