wife has interview for spouse visa

Post by synapse321 » Fri Oct 26, 2007 7:30 am

Just heard the news from my wife that they have given her an interview. The turn around time was 3 days after submitting the paperwork.

This is the part I am dreading reading these forums as depending on who you get the eco can be quite harsh.

Our's is a weak case as I am temping at the moment, not in permanent employment although I have 12k in savings.

Not holding my breath, I will keep people informed for their future benefit.

(ps I am dreading the appeal process if it comes to that as it will be difficult getting time off work)

In hope.

What type of interview, for what type of visa?
I am not, and cannot, offer legal advice to particular people. I can only discuss general areas of immigration law.

Don't panic - £12k in savings sounds pretty good to me.

Just an update to the situation.

My wife collected her passport from the embassy and has been granted the spouse visa.

I would like to take this opportunity in the help this board provided.

The process can potentially be a nightmare if things don't go according to plan.

Thanks.
