All approvals are prior 6th April. It will take time I'm afraid. I hope when HO starts on working post changes applications then it will go smoothly and quickly ... 2 months for me today, I hoped for quick approval and now Im actually getting ready for lengthy wait.

Eligibility criteria: 5year + 1 yr ILR
Language criteria met -UK degree + LIUK
Current nationality: Nigerian
Method of application (NCS/Postal/Solicitor etc):Postal by Royal Mail
Council name if NCS used: N/A
Date of application:28th May
Payment method: CC/DC
Date of receipt by UKBA:29th May (as seen by Tracking)
Date of debit or clearance of fees: 06th July (seen on my bank statement)
Date of acknowledgment:10th June (by email)
Date of receipt by Biometric info:23rd July (for both AN and MN1)
Date of Submission of Biometric info: 1st August
Date approval received: waiting
Date of ceremony:waiting

Hi

I still haven't received any acknowledgement but after emailing biometrics team a few times I finally got my letter 30/7 and got it done on Sunday 2/8

Looks like we gonna have the longest wait. So far no approvals from Post Bio-metric Applications. :cry:

Bear in mind old friend that we are unaware of the progress of the 99% of total applicants who are not on this board.

Indeed, but even a small percentage out of a mass means something.

Hello there

My wife applied for her nationalization on 19th May 2015 using NCS service.The payment took more than a month to be deducted from her account, No acknowledgement letter no biometric,nothing so far. Called home-office couple of times and they finally returned my call saying I should not be worried about the confirmation letter(payment to receipt), but i have to email Biometric office, by giving them date of birth and name of the applicant.

Is it normal? we emailed Biometric 16 days ago,twice, no answer so far.Is there any contact number? What shall we do please

Any advice is appreciated.

I think that is part of the problem - when people mailing them multiple times - their inbox must be bursting of duplicate emails and it must be a nightmare to sort through ...

I emailed them twice! Simply the problem is not that,there has not been ANY letter of confirmation etc ,we do not even have the reference number

About 3 weeks. However when they did reply they apologized for delay. They also required more info for letter and the follow up emails were within 24 hours. I got the letter 3 days after

The fundamental problem is a lack of timely and professional communication. If they even just auto-replied to emails once received we'd have an idea what's going on. But they don't.

And no replies to written letters sent Royal Mail recorded? Indefensible, in my view.

I've escalated to my MP. Her office representative suggested communication problems were very common. Others should do the same. If enough MPs get bothered enough they'll sort this problem out fairly quickly. Its a complete waste of time, to be honest.

April-June data will be released on 27th August, all previous data is available on Freedom of Information website.

On 27th August, HO will have to publish the applications data for April-June, so I bet we will see the first approvals this week or next. They will need to show that some progress has been made. Fingers crossed!!

They have started approving bio metric applications already - i have seen a few on the April 2015 thread so shouldn't be too long before they get to the May ones - Early September is when i would expect to see some approvals here!

I applied in may-2015 but was observing progress for April coz I thought I would get approval after you guys but I am one of the luckiest person may be... :lol: I know its not fair but I thought I should let you know that how the HO works, they claim to process all applications in a date order but obviously its not.....
Please don't loose your heart, I hope you guys will get your answers very soon. wish you good luck.
Guys one of the May applicants already got approval.

He posted yesterday on April timeline.
