Date application received by IPS: 19/08/15 Belfast
Date of return of documents: 24/08/15
Date of receipt of interview letter: 22/08/15 (Dated 21/08/15 - I was lucky to get an appointment for same day)
Date of Passport Appointment: 22/08/15
Date of Passport Receipt: 25/08/15

I got my British Passport today. I applied last week and got it today. Very pleased!

It took only 7 days, I still can't believe

Hope you guys will receive yours as quick as possible.

very pleased with the belfast office, recieved the sms after 2 working days from the date of receipt from passport office.

Sorry for the late reply. I think it depends on if you paid for the secured delivery for the passport. I didn't so I didn't recieve the text most people did. I waited 3 weeks after I applied and used the online tracker form to find out when I'd be getting the passport. They sent a reply saying it had been printed 2 days after my interview and to allow 4-5 working days delivery, I should have had the passport on the 27th but as I mentioned earlier, the courier somehow delivered it to the wrong address, delivering it to the next street up.

I wouldn't worry about this happening to you though, I was told it had never really happened before so I guess I was just that unlucky. Most people recieve their passport 3 days after its printed. Good luck.

I think they don't have Saturday appointment but they can give you Friday evening appt. The latest one is half 5 if I remember well. This is what they gave me in March

Hi Guys,

Just got my interview letter but no documents returned. Do they send them out separately? The guy on the phone told me they only send them after your passport has been printed but it looks like its not the case here

just checked on website it says Monday to Friday: 7.45am - 9.00pm and Saturday: 9.15am - 3.35pm. for IPS near London Victoria. Not sure these are just office or interview timings..

I thank everyone in this forum for their support.

My immigration history has come to an end.

I received my British passport today.

After loads of stress.

Applied in 2008 other family member of an eu citizen

received resident card in August 2010 after appeals.

applied for permanent resident card in January 2014

received in April 2014

applied for naturalization in February 2015

Approved in July 2015

got my approval letter end of july.

ceremony on the 18 of August 2015

Applied for British passport 18 August 2015

went for interview 25 of August 2015

received passport 27 August 2015.

I am so happy..
