I was able to register with GP without CoA, even before applying for RC, maybe you should try another GP?
Congrats on your CoA, we are still waiting and praying to get soon.
Employers can accept just CoA without you presenting original passport?
Thanks kristo i treid another one they replied the same i think in all london city they have strict regulations maybe in other cites thing can be easier . luck luck to everyone

Hi guys!

A quick update for those who are also waiting for their CoA - I finally got mine! Over the moon

Congrats to all those who also received theirs, but even bigger congrats to the RC holders ;)

Support Nora's suggestion about the signatures - it will make the thread easier to follow.

Atsha, I'm not sure of your circumstances, but I would insist on explaining the reasons of the refusal.
I understand why they got stricter now (probably with the introduction of the IHS) but since a family member of a EU national is exempt from this surcharge, it should qualify you for a free healthcare.

My understanding is that they shouldn't refuse to register you if you have a proof of your address (usually surgeries accept certain post codes only) - they only can charge you afterwards for the treatments, if you don't qualify for the free services.

Congratulations to those who recently got their RC.
It seems April applicants are getting their RC. Hopefully we May applicants will be next in line. Good luck to everybody waiting for their RC.

I have been following the timelines here with interest. Below is one more data point, for an (early) April application. Processing time was just under 5 months, though, as has apparently been the case with others recently, it took a couple of weeks after the date on the RC for us to receive the notification and documentation in the post.

Application: EEA(QP) and EEA(FM)
Application sent: 01/04/2015
Received at HO: 02/04/2015
COA dated: 15/04/2015
RC dated: 27/08/2015
RC received: 12/09/2015

You are right.
I didnt know that system gonna change after April 6th. If I knew, I would apply b4 6th. By now my RC would be in my hands
