Referees for British Citizenship

Hello All,

I've a question about Referees for Naturalization Application (Form AN). I have below two referees.

1) Director of a Limited company. He's an ex-colleague but I know him for more than 3 years.
2) Ex-colleague who works as a Software Developer. I know him for more than 3 years.

Are the above two referees sufficient and satisfy the requirements?

Providing the second referee is over 25 and a british passport holder then yes!

professional referee doesnt have to be a british citizen but second one does

Both of them are British Citizens.

Does it matter when they got their Citizenship? One of them only got their Citizenship this year (2015)
