FP and RP with part time job

Post by Watandar » Sun Oct 04, 2015 8:27 pm

Hi,

I would appreciate if someone could help me with below case.

My mom has (Dutch) nationality and my father has Ukrainian nationality but both were born in Afghanistan. My father has Polish schengen visa and visits my mom in the Netherlands with his Polish visa for the last 3 years.

My mom would like to move to UK so she can be close to me and my family. If I find her a part time job (20 hours a week). Can she apply for a FP and resedence card for my father with a part time job?

Because of her age (59 years) and illness she cant work full time.

Thank you for your help.

She should be fine.

You did will qualify for EEA family permit even if your mother does not have a job.

There is an initial right of residence , that is independent of a person being a qualified person.
