April 2015 Naturalization application Timeline ONLY

No offence under my name checked by trust.org
Never over stay

Only got debt but its under debt mangement paying every month and hasn't got any court fined, my friends got more debt AND his nat was APROVED within 4 months.

So, WHAT IS MY FAULT?? WHY I HAVE TO WAIT EXTRA WHEATHER PEOPLE APPLIED ON JUNE AND THEY GOT APROVED......

Hi All,

I have applied on the 15th of April, done biometrics on the 14th of May and still nothing. 6 months will be due in about 2 weeks,

I am writing in regard to your outstanding application for British Citizenship.
We aim to process all applications within 6 months from the date submitted. However, in certain circumstances this target is not possible. Following our assessment of your case, unfortunately it appears your application will not be processed within the 6 month target.
Following recent clarification of the Nationality rules greater levels of scrutiny will be applied to certain applications. This will be dependent on certain indicators within their immigration history that pre-date the application for British Citizenship.
Your case has been identified as such a case and will not be decided within 6 months.
We expect to make a decision on your application within the next 3 – 6 months, but we will write to you again if this is not going to be possible. Please note we will contact you with further updates and can advise you do not need to contact us again unless your circumstances change significantly.
This also applies to any family members whose applications for citizenship were submitted at the same time.
Having checked the forum, this seem like a standard response sent to many approaching their 6-month deadline

I ended up contacting my local MP and a letter has been sent to ukba to check the progress on my application, lets see how long they will take to reply my MP.

Iwill suggest everyone who has been waiting from more than 5 months to contact their local MPs and raise thia issue.

I havnt sent any email to ukba as i am sure it will be a waste of time and also they do not provide you any update or info via email.

Thank you for your email. I have spoken to the Home Office and I am told that your application is under active consideration. I am told that you made the application on 14 April 2015 and so the six months wouldn’t be until 14 October 2015. Additionally, naturalisation applications are taking longer than normal at the moment due to the increased checks that are having to be made due to the increased security situation.

I think it will be another 6 months wait for me, don't know why the NCS service is in place or why I paid for it when all these documents were seen by them and photocopied.
Please could anyone let me know if they had received a similar letter and how long did HO take to decide after you sent the documents to them.
