Hi,

I have a question please and would appreciate any help that you all can offer me.

I applied for BC in June 2015. I had only one FPN in the last 12 months which I declared on my application form. I received that FPN in June 2014. Now while my application is still in process, I have unfortunately received another speeding ticket. I'm still within my 28 days to respond to the first letter which asks the owner of the car to confirm the driver. I have the following questions:

1. Do I need to inform the home office about this new FPN?

2. If I do need to inform them, then when do I need to inform them. i.e., do I need to inform them now or should I wait until I get the points endorsed on my license?

3. Will it jeopardize my application?

4. If I do need to inform the HO about this, then how do I do that?

I look forward to your help. Many thanks!

I applied early June and received a FPN for speeding around a week after sending my application. Solicitor advised against informing HO, so I did not. I received my approval mid September (currently waiting for Passport), so it did not affect my application at all. The solicitor suggested that as my application was correct at the time of completing it, it would be fine.

You could still write to them to be on the safe side, but I did not and it does not appear to have made any difference to processing.

Application sent June 10th.

I'm sure it'll be there waiting at home for me soon...
None of the 10th June applications seem to have processed. Did you apply as Tier G or BC spouse?
I applied as BC spouse

Sorry to hear that mate. I am sorry for my last post I did not read completely and posted thinking something else.

From my personal point of view, you don't need to inform them as this happened after your application.

And your application is true at time of application and they should and will consider things until the application and not after.

Alright, guys, got my approval last week, please find below my timeline:

Eligibility criteria: EEA4 PR + 1 year
Language criteria met by: Expired IELTS
Method of application (NCS/Postal/Solicitor etc):NCS
Council name if NCS used: Westminster
Date of application: 18/06/2015
Payment method : CC
Date of receipt by UKBA:19/06/2015
Date of debit or clearance of fees: 23/06/2015
Date of acknowledgment: Not received
Date of receipt by Biometric info: 10/07/2015 dated 03/07/2015
Date of Submission of Biometric info: 22/07/2015
Date approval received: 03/10/2015 dated 23/09/2015
Date of ceremony: 03/11/2015

Was a bit bummed out by seeing people who applied much later getting their ack. letters, bio letters and approvals, but at the end it doesn't really matter. It's not like this is a race. I know anxiety may sometimes kicks in, but at the end of the day, most people who've applied here did it so with the proper docs and following the rules, so no reason for anything to go wrong really.

This kind of closes a cycle for me on this forum. Thanks to everyone who has given me great advice across all these years (a big shout out to the EEA forum mods). I hope I have given back at least a little bit and paid forward.

Congrats to all those who have received their approvals :D I requested my passport back on the 15/8/17 a week later i received my passport, p60, Enhanced Disclosure Certificate and Driving licence. But the HO kept my Knowledge of life certificate, social service support letter and university letter plus of course the approval letter lol.

What intrigues me is that on the letter it says "Once work begins on your application we may need to request them again but please do not send them until we write to you requesting them".

Also says: "Applications are considered broadly in order of receipt and dealt with as quickly as possible" Well am think if this is the case then my application must have fell in the hands of a messed up case worker.

My days looking out for brown envelopes are over HO office can take their gorgeous time in the world at least I have my passport back and can still travel.

Hello everyone

Congratulations to all who received their approvals. I applied on the 8th of July and have not heard back yet. It seems that some people who applied after me have already heard back! I am a bit worried because I didn't submit a NARIC certificate with my application. I only posted my original degree (PhD) with my application. I obtained my degree in the UK and thought this would be enough. Was I wrong??? Any help/advice is much appreciated.

Hello,

For UK Degree you don't need NARIC.
