Gap question - 180 or 181 days?

Post by ambiva » Sun Oct 11, 2015 9:47 am

Hi,

I would be applying for ILR in less than 2 years using 10-year route (currently T2 for 4 years)
There's a one long gap that I'm not very certain.

2009 AUG.30 (Stamp) Enter PVG (The flight left on AUG.29, time zone difference is +7 hours)
2010 FEB.26 (Stamp) Enter LHR (back to UK)

From Aug.30 to Feb.26 is exactly 180 days (excluding Feb.26)
Does that mean that I just met the requirement or there is a +1 day ? or is it nothing to worry about.

Thanks for reply.

u can omit day of departure n arrival from your gap. if u read the guidance/form it says clearly about leaving both travel days.
