2nd June and still waiting. Ive posted my marriage certificate as I want all correspondence in married name. I gave up hoping now just want the answer to be honest

Good News: Finally our approval letters Dated 10/10/15 (Saturday ) arrived today (Mine+Wife). Thank you very much all for sharing the timelines and experiences here and a Big Thank You to the ImmigrationBoards admin for maintaining such a great platform. Best of luck everyone.

Just to mention that i have contacted my MP on 9th October to enquire about my application status. i made this enquiry because i was worried that Home Office might have sent anything in post while i was away for 3 weeks in September and also seen July and August approvals and thought if mine is lost. I have not heard anything from MP yet but two brown envelops arrived today from HO.

1. The date when application was approved or decision was made by HO (date letter issued on)?
2. The date when outcome/approval was received to applicant (date letter arrived)? OR
3. The date Ceremony is held (day we get official certificate)?

I have just seen 'Uma103' approved on 21-Oct - app received by UKBA on 5-Jun. Hopefully, we June waiters are not far away.

I am 10-Jun (received by UKBA) and still waiting.

The reason I asked, this will help me to go to India for short visit during christmas, coming back in 2nd week of Jan...as 2nd of November ceremony gives me chance to use my Indian passport till 1st Feb (3 months rule), hope that's correct.

I hope that it wont be a major problem should you travel on those dates. Good Luck with your trip mate and the rest of the process of naturalisation. Not sure about Indian Law as I am a pakistani; though out of curiosity, I did read something about you would now be classified as OCI (Overseas Citizen of India). Would add to my knowledge and will also help our many Indian friends here if you update us with your experience and any process involved. It will definitely help our Indian members here who all would go through this process sooner or later.

I don't hold my breath on quick respond in week time I'm going to wait for 5 months. Just downhearted really by all this experience.
