Congratulations for all who received the visa.

For me I think life is not that easy, I got below reply after I sent a mail to chennai.visaenquiry.

Thank yuo for your email. there are some checks pending on your application. A decison will be made on completion of the same. This might take another week to 10 days.

Any idea what this means until yesterday i got this reply:

You may wish to note that we have received your verification report from Integra. A decision is yet to be made on your application as we are seeing a huge rush in visa applications especially in the HSMP category.

Meanwhile people who applied with me got their visas yesterday.

Does this mean that INTEGRA has given a negative report on my application?
Did anyone else among the readers got a similar reply?

Applied at Mumbai VFS on 12th November 2007
SMS Status : Application forwarded to BHC on 13th November 2007
19th November : Received a call from Integra. Spoke with my HR and also with me. I was asked the following questions :

1. Since what date are you working with the current company.
2. What is your company into.
3. Are you still working with the current company ???

When the lady had called my office and spoke with me, how did she ask if I am still working with this company.
4. What is your designation.
5. To whom do you report to.
6. What is your reporting manager's name and designation.
7. What is your present salary.
8. What is the name of the HR person.
9. What is your company website.
10. What is your official email ID.

Hi,

I got my HSMP and now I am ready to get EC done. Thanks to all forum members in helping.

I am currently in UK on a business visa and have following queries?

1. Is it possible to get FLR done if I am on a business visit?
2. If not then how much time does it take to get EC done in India?
3. Are there different experiences at different centers?
4. I have some GBP in my current travel card, can I use the statement of travel card to show that I have funds to support my self?
5. If I have a UK job in hand (offer letter) then do I still need to show huge amount in bank balance?

Hi All,

Information for who applied for EC from delhi.

Applied for EC - 25 OCT.
Visa Stamped - 19 Nov.

In my case no Integra Verfication done!!

I have provided all mentioned documents in the posts other than original driving licence...and in Delhi, photo size required is 45*35 smaller one...although I had both sizes.

HSMP Approved --> EC done --> now fight starts for landing in UK...

so far so good and I thank you all for this great information sharing site...

Keep walking... road to hsmp is very documentry.

Hi all,

I applied for my EC along with spouse on 1st November at VFS, Chennai. Mailed BHC today and they said they are yet to receive the Integra verification report. Anyone with the same situation? Today is the 12th working day since applying for EC.

Applied for EC at Mumbai VFS - 30-10 - old form VAF1...
Ask for status on 13 Nov to Mumbai BHC by eMail...
reply on 15 Nov from BHC Mum - still enquiring on application - can not give estimate of how long it will take...
16 Nov morning - got call from local Bluedart office for passport delivery

Visa stamped for 2 years effective 15-11

Sometimes, BHC ppl reply are funny, so keep faith on God.

I too applied on 5th nov. application was forwarded to BHC on 6th.
on 12nov received call to our HR dept.

Unfortunately relevent person was not on his desk and asked to call back.
they never called back.

I wonder what will happen in my case, any experienced guys let me know.
I wish if some one can come to office for personal check.

anyway hope for the best.

Hi asterick, in the perfect world HR not receiving call dosent mean that ur verification will be negative. However in INTGRA world if they are unable to reach HR repeatedly, then no idea wat they would write in their report. I read in this forum that ITEGRA called 3 times all 3 times the phone was not attended by concerned person. then they called on the land line of the candidate he was also unreachable and EC was rejected with a reason "All standard means of communication failed to contact the employer". So be positive.
In my case integra dosent even called or they called and no one picked.
Meanwhile others who got integra calls and hav complete application can expect their passports back in 13-15 working days.

Hi All,

I filed visa on 25 oct 2007. Today's chennai.visaenquiry email says that "no change of status since 12/11/2007", they confirmed that they are "in receipt of integra reports and application is pending checks".

Any idea why my application is getting delayed. Is that due to the fact that integra didnt send the report till now?

Does anyone among the reader apply for visa on\before 25thOctober and yet not received the decision.

Here is an update that i received today morning from Chennai VFS on our application. We applied on the 1st of Nov at chennai.

Dear XXX

You may wish to note that we have received your verification report from Integra. A decision is yet to be made on your application.

Please allow enough time for us to process your application, and remember that HSMP applications need intense assessment as per the requirements of the Immigration rules, it may take slightly longer for us to make a decision about your application.

Any idea as to how long its going to take from here?

Hi,

One of my friend applied EC on Oct 25th from Bangalore VFS and he got passport back with 2 years visa on Nov 21st.

He asked for post dated Visa but they have given the Visa starts on same day

I applied for EC on 05th November 2007 to Bangalore office.

My previous employers got verification calls from integra.
What will happen if they feel the funds are insufficient. I didnt know that Integra people will check the bank accounts during verification. So I redistributed most of the funds after i took the bank statements.

But i have an uk offer already and i have send that offer letter also for the EC.

I spoke to chennai vfs enquiry and they said the it will take 15-18 working days and i can check for the status next week.

Any idea what will happen in my case?

Hi All,

Just wanted to confirm if we need to submit Original documents for EC or even photocopies will work?

I know the HO approval needs to be ORIGINAL. I am talking abt Degree, Bank Statement, Salary Slips, Marriage Certificates and so on.

Received my spouses and my passports with the visa stamped for 2 yrs

...Today was the 15th working day since our application..Planning to fly to UK on the 10th of Dec. Thanks a lot to all who have helped us come this far. and wud do the same to my fellow applicants.
