Hi,
I am watching this forum long time. My Dependent applied on 31st july 2015 and she recieved COA(with permitted work) On 3rd nov 2015.
My question is that My dependent have no photo identity card because everything with homeoffice so its very hard to register in bank accounts and another service.I asked DVLA people for provisional licence but they told me to send COA because They dont have any idea.
Anyone have suggestion or faced same situation ??

Hello Everybody,

Any news from MAY applicants? cos it seems the HO have forgotten about the MAY applicants and now dealing with JUNE applicants.
Submitted 7th of May and nothing yet as at today, no questionaire,no interview, total silence and tried to call severally they kept saying working on it.
Do we have any MAY applicant who has received his/her RC recently?, please let us know.
Thanks and good luck to all

I contacted HO through "whatdotheyknow" website and then eurobiometrics@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk telling them ALL the details- dates of birth(me and husband), adress, time when i sent my application, passport numbers..
I also sent e-mail to nweurocoatequests@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk

Then i sent another iquiry to whatdotheyknow (since they ignored my first one for 22 days) and they replied! After that i got my paperwork.

I got my RC on 27th of October and still no passports and documents...worried now.

They called yesterday & said it was still under process. That they don't know how long it will take. No decision has been made
mandazi maybe you can start contact your mp,submit complaint through solvit and write some formal letter to HO.i dont have any experience about this but when they call you have you mention that they are breach ing european law?

You can request the HO to send your dependant's passport back and explain your circumstances!

You are right Mktemi75. HO seems to have ignored May applicants especially those of us that applied the 1st and 2nd week in May. I applied on the 8th of May and no news since then. I have requested passports back on the 29th of October. The wait is so tormenting

Exactly fabflower, one would have expected them to treat the applications in order of date of submission, but from the look of things, they arent doing it any any particular order, The most annoying thing is that one doesnt seem to get any information from them on phone. All they tell you is that the application is in process.I will however be sending a formal complaint email on Monday regarding the delay in treating my application because by law, they should issue the RC within 6 months from the day of submission.
I will advise you do same maybe it will snap them off this unacceptable ''sleep mode''.

Hi Irol & others who have recently received your RC - Congrats again!
Could you please let me know if the RC is just a paper/letter or a BRP card? I've been reading about it and I'm a bit confused what it actually is.

Thank you!

Congratulations Irol!!
You can try calling this number : 03001232241

However it would be useful if you could share informations about your case with other members of the forum !?
Thank you, I already shared my story on page 554:) pretty "exciting" :D

Hello everyone,

I would be really grateful if you can help me out.

I am applying RC as EEA FM, my wife is a EEA student, finishing her course next year in July. I posted the application at the end of October and received a CoA "unable to confirm your right to work" along with Biometric enrolment letter today. The reason for that is I have not provided all original documentations of " Sufficient evidence of your sponsor exercising Treaty rights".

I provided her student status letter, our original CSI, our bank statements, scholarship letters and the declaration of sufficient funds. They are all original documents.

So I wonder what does it mean that there isn't sufficient evidence of her exercising Treaty rights? If I forget anything, can I still submit them now? If it is simply their mistake, should I just write e-mail or letter to them and ask them to review the situation?

Another question, my wife is finishing her course in July 2016. She will probably then find a job or work as self-employed. If I get a RC, will it still be valid for 5 years? Or it is only valid until July next year and I have to apply a new one when she has found a job?

Many thanks!!

What a beautiful monday !! :D
We have just received a questionnaire aaking silly questions such as where did we learn english and how do we communicate at home and list of places we've travelled to together etc... the only problem is that the box they have provided for us to list the places weve been to isnt big enough to list all of them! !
Also our lawyer told us to expect an interview within 5 weeks approximately!
Application sent: 25.06
Biometrics : 10/07 (dated 07/07)
COA: 29/07
Received Questionnaire: 09/11
