UK citizen moving to Aus to be with NZ partner

Can anyone explain to me what options are for immigration to Aus for a UK born partner (me) of a NZ citizen who resides in Aus? I've read some conflicting information online, he's been living there 5 years and I'm not sure if he could bring me over on a partner Visa if he's been there just 5 years?

If you are within the age bracket, why not look at the Youth Mobility Visa.
