On Wednesday 11th November 2015 we missed out on the last available in person Premium Appointment available for the 30th November 2015, the date that my daughters current Tier 4 visa was to expire, so with the help of an agent, resorted to applying via the 10 Day Priority Service.

BTW, my company ran out of unrestricted CoS allocation by the time I got my offer last December, therefore they need to apply one just for me. The company solicitor submitted the allocation increase request to HO on 18/12/2015. Despite our chasing and pushing on daily basis, HO didn't get the allocation increased until 05/01/2016.
Therefore, for anyone who is currently in similar position, waiting for their allocation to be granted, you should set your expectation to be at least 2-3 weeks (no matter how persistent you are...). HO claims that they only take case as urgent if the current visa expire date is within 15 working days.

Once you are in ; you can save the application and progress it (I think 15 days )

I've just received a letter for my Tier 2 extension being approved but I am concerned about the last page in that document. It has got the sponsorship start and end dates wrong and my leave to remain is only for 2 years but my COS is for 3 years and I've paid for 3 years health care surcharge . Has anyone faced a similar situation on the "Tier 2 grant calculator" section ? I'm half hoping its just an example page and when I receive my BRP it would have the right details on them .
